Just last year, my daughter was serving in the US Peace Corps in Mali. Since her return last July, a military coup in the South and a rebel takeover in the North have occurred in the country, in addition to widespread famine and drought. The circumstances are quite serious. Many people are in need of food, clean water, and medical supplies, and the Red Cross is one of the few humanitarian groups braving the dangerous political situation to help distribute supplies and medical aid. I will be taking donations and 100% of them will go to to the International Committee of the Red Cross. The event is free, but a donation is appreciated!
